Savory, Saucy & Weeknight-Approved 🥢🥦🍯This Sheet Pan Beef & Broccoli is a dinner dream come true—flavor-packed, fuss-free, and all made on one pan. The sticky garlic sesame sauce is rich and tangy, with sweet honey, umami soy sauce, and a kick of fresh ginger. It’s just as good (maybe better?) than takeout and way easier to clean up.

While the pan preheats, you’ll mix up the garlicky sauce and cube the beef. A quick roast in the oven before adding the sauce and broccoli keeps everything juicy and caramelized. Bonus points if you have time to marinate the meat first—but it’s amazing either way!

The Recipe: Sheet Pan Beef & Broccoli with Sticky Garlic Sauce

For the Sauce:

  • 1 cup soy sauce

  • 8 cloves garlic, minced

  • 5 tbsp honey

  • 2 tbsp brown sugar

  • 4 tbsp sesame oil

  • 4 tbsp rice wine vinegar

  • 1–2 tsp grated fresh ginger

  • Fresh cracked pepper, to taste

  • 1 tbsp cornstarch mixed with 2 tbsp water (slurry)

For the Sheet Pan:

  • 1 ½ to 2 lbs beef (sirloin or flank), cubed

  • 3–4 cups broccoli florets

  • 1 tbsp olive or neutral oil

  • Sesame seeds & green onion, for garnish

📌 Optional: Marinate the beef in a little bit of the sauce before cooking. This will make the beef even more tender and delicious.

Instructions:

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F and place your sheet pan inside while it heats up. This helps the beef sear nicely.

  2. While the oven preheats, mix together all sauce ingredients in a small bowl. Set aside.

  3. Cube the beef into bite-sized pieces. If you have time, marinate it (optional).

  4. Once the oven is hot, carefully remove the sheet pan, add beef in a single layer. Roast for 10–15 minutes.

  5. Optional, add the sauce to a small saucepan and cook for a few minutes to thicken, this will help ensure the sauce coats everything and creates the right consistency without the risk of overcooking the broccoli.

  6. After the initial roast, remove the sheet pan, add the broccoli and the sauce. Toss everything together.

  7. Return to oven for another 10 minutes, or until sauce thickens and beef is cooked through. Stir once halfway through.

  8. Garnish with sesame seeds and sliced green onion. Serve hot over rice!
